Rylan Williams
Born and raised in Toledo Ohio by Frank and Rolanda, Rylan is a graduate of Oakland University. Attending on a full ride basketball scholarship, he graduated with a degree in Sociology criminal justice concentration. With his degree in the bag and another year left on scholarship, Rylan flooded his remaining schedule with theater study courses. Having discovered a love for acting, he would move to Los Angeles shortly after the school year, obviously putting the major to great use. As with everyone his early years in the big city were quite the learning experience, but after a while he would start to find success. With some minor acting gigs things would start to pick up for Rylan, landing a lead role in Don B. Welch’s The Bachelor Party, and later another appearance in Welch’s The Divorce. Rylan would also go on to some commercial success while landing significant tv roles in Knight Rider and CSI: Miami, and reoccurring roles in Swingtown and The Game. His more significant film appearances include roles in Daydreamer, The People I’ve Slept With, and The Divorce, but that’s not to downplay his role as a male courtesan in Balls of Fury. An injury would sideline Rylan for a while, during which time he would discover other passions, writing and directing. To the date he has amassed over a dozen scripts and over a half dozen television pilots. After dabbling with a few short films and internet projects, Rylan would begin focusing on producing these projects, the first of which would be a film he also starred in called, Novice. The second film, actually completed around the same time, Untamed, would also feature him in a lead role. Now having written, directed, starred in, and produced two films, Rylan hopes to continue this trend of creating, and push forward into a future, of which he sees no limit. He could not be prouder of Untamed and has all the confidence in the world that Novice will be just as well received. Of course nothing is ever done on your own, and Rylan gives all praise to the family and friends that have directly or indirectly, through their support and encouragement, made all of this possible.
